Kiru Veerappan

Kiru Veerappan leads the technology team for MITS as the Chief Technology Officer. Prior to joining MITS, Kiru was the technology head of ECM Practice at Prolifics, a leading IBM Systems Integrator in the US. Kiru has been involved with MITS since its inception and has successfully implemented dozens of large enterprise applications and solutions in Enterprise Content Management and Case Management areas. Kiru has more than 19 years of Information Technology experience in a wide variety of technology industries including Enterprise Software, Internet services, Manufacturing, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education.

He has been the architect and lead consultant in providing cutting edge solutions to several customers like Sify, California State University, Occidental Petroleum, BearingPoint, Hennepin County, Blue Shield of California, Northern Trust Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Cigna and IBM to name a few.  Kiru uses his expertise in OOPS and SOA in bringing out the best of breed systems using industry standard tools and development platforms including IBM Case Manager, IBM Content Navigator, IBM FileNet, Java/J2EE, .Net, and Web Services.

Kiru received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from University of Madras, India. He also holds an Honor’s Diploma in Software Management from NIIT, India.
